 Mike Yust
Mike Yust joined the
NMGI team this spring. He typically spends his day at
his desk answering DoubleCheck support calls and
fighting SPAM.
Mike is from Kansas and
currently lives in Hutchinson, with his wife Amelia and
his two sons, Cody and Austin. He attended Hutchinson
Community College where he earned his Associates Degree
in General Sciences. Mike has been in Customer Service
and Computer Support his entire working career across
various jobs. Mike
achieved accreditation from CompTia as an A+ hardware
and software technician. He recently became NMGI's 2nd
Quarter MVP for outstanding service and support as voted
by his peers. Mike
enjoys spending time with his family and friends and
playing computer games. He also enjoys computers,
programming, hunting and being outdoors in his spare
time.

NMGI Business
Technology Expo Recap
NMGI held a
free Business Technology Expo at the Grand
Prairie Hotel and Convention Center in
Hutchinson, KS.
A
major topic covered by multiple speakers at the
event was Business Continuity. Mike Semel, a
Certified Business Continuity Professional with
XiloCore in Las Vegas held a Business Continuity
Planning Session at the Expo.
Keynote speaker Randy Johnston
started the day with a Technology Product Trends
discussion. Randy consults with CPA firms, banks
and private businesses, as well as technology
and accounting-industry vendors, concerning ways
to improve their organizations and lives using
technology. Randy is Executive Vice President of
K2 Enterprises, an education firm providing
technology seminars and conferences for CPAs. He
is also a partner with Steve Harper, President
of NMGI.
NMGI
team members, Ken McClelland, Doug Elliott and
Ian Taylor also spoke at the Expo, along with
representatives from Hewlett Packard, Alltel and
Ingram Micro.
