My How Times Have
Changed....
As a
flower child of the sixties I'm constantly amazed
at the technological changes necessary to keep
pace with our normal lives.
Think back to the
1960’s with me. The manufacture of portable AM/FM
or FM sets grew at 750 percent between 1960 and
1965. The Tape Cart (which soon became the 8-Track
Tape) was introduced. Radio continued to be the
primary means of listening to music. The major
development was a change from primarily AM to FM.
Radio was supplemented by American Bandstand,
watched by teens from coast to coast. The Space
Race, begun by the Soviets in 1957, was
highlighted by Alan Sheppard, the first American
in space in 1961.
What will I ever do with all
my 45 RPM records and 33 1/3 LP albums?
Fortunately, in 1981 IBM created the IBM
PC which revolutionized the way personal computing
was conducted. Riding this technology trend over
the past 20 years my partner Randy Johnston
and I have been able to morph our business model
to meet the ever changing service, support, and
computer technology needs of our clients.
Today
our goal is to design, implement, and manage
technology solutions profitably for our clients,
using quality services and products, while
leveraging our flexible business, technical and
consulting expertise. The NMGI mission continues
to remain focused on NMGI being a leading IT

& Tricks - Microsoft Word
 Have you ever
noticed when you open a MS Word document that it
defaults to a reading layout. If you prefer to
view a normal page layout when you open a
document, follow these steps:
>Open your MSWord document
>Go to Tools --> Options
>Select the General Tab
>Uncheck the Allow starting in Reading
